Special Operations

The Poulsbo Fire Department provides technical rescue services to the community served as well as to the entire region as a contributing agency in the Kitsap County Technical Rescue Team and the Washington State Region 2 Technical Rescue Task Force. All of our personnel are trained to the Operations level for rope rescue, marine rescue, confined space rescue, structural collapse, trench, and vehicle/machinery disentanglement. Additionally, four of our members are trained and qualified at the Technician level, serving on the county and regional teams.
