What if I want to come in for a blood pressure check?

Hypertension is another name for high blood pressure. It can lead to severe health complications and increase the risk of heart disease, stroke, and sometimes death. The Poulsbo Fire Department is happy to provide free blood pressure checks at all our stations, no appointment is needed. Please keep in mind that firefighters may not always be available to provide this service, but if our crews are present, we will gladly help you!

If you are experiencing chest pain, shortness of breath, or any other symptoms of a serious medical emergency, please call 9-1-1 instead of coming to the fire station.
