Plan Review

The Fire Department’s Deputy Fire Marshal reviews building plans, related to new commercial construction, to ensure compliance with the International Fire Code.  These plan reviews are performed in collaboration with the City of Poulsbo’s Building Department and Kitsap County Fire Marshal’s office, which are the authority having jurisdiction over code enforcement within their respective portions of the fire district.  Plans review and consistent enforcement of the international fire code improves the safety of our community for generations to come.
