Kitsap County Fire District 18 established a Community Budget Review Committee (CBRC) in 2010 to provide an opportunity for the District to receive perspective from the community it serves and to assist the District with prioritization of services, goals, program review, strategic planning, and to allow transparency to its constituents. In 2021 the District changed the committee name to the Strategic Advisory Board (SAB) since the primary purpose is to get community feedback on all aspects of the District not just focus on the budget.
